Wow, what an incredible night at the 26th Annual Katy 5K!

Thank you to all the runners, walkers, and partygoers who joined us at the September 5 Katy 5K. We sold out a week before the event and had more sponsors and picnic partners than ever.

The evening kicked off with an exhilarating 5K run through the scenic Turtle Creek and Uptown areas, culminating on the beautiful Katy Trail. But that was just the beginning.

Katy Trail Striping and Safety Stencils Refresh

Friends of the Katy Trail is proud and grateful to partner with the City of Dallas on a regular basis to keep the Katy Trail safe for all of us. Thank you, Dallas Parks and Recreation, for your recent restriping of the entire 3.5-mile length of the Trail and for refreshing the safety stencils at key points. This effort clearly defines the center of the Trail on the concrete path and highlights important safety messages.
